Window Tinting FAQ

What are the Indiana regulations for window tinting?


You can have up to 15% tint on anything behind the passenger door glass, and up to 35% tint on the driver and passenger doors.

Sure thing!

Is there anything special I can do to keep my convertible top in peak condition?


Follow basic maintenance procedure to keep it that way, but also get it professionally cleaned. This does make a difference in how long the fabric lasts, and will make sure you don’t have to replace it too often.



Can I bring my own convertible top in and have you put it on?


You can, but we’ll have to look at it before installing it. A lot of Camaro vintage companies that sell convertible tops online are not necessarily selling you an authentic item. We will not install a piece that will damage your car.

Even the material can make a difference- for example, vinyl tops don’t fold and stretch the same as cloth tops, and you can end up with wrinkles and gaps, and a top that will need to be repaired again before too long. So do your research before buying your own top, and come in to see us if you have questions!



Can you replace just the back window in my convertible top?

You got it! Just bring her in.
